Hydro-Photon implemented NetSuite, the leading SaaS financial system, as a major upgrade to their back office accounting infrastructure. But since their entire business depended on the rapid, accurate shipment of SteriPENs and accessories, it was crucial to retain their shipping workflow and maintain that accuracy and speed. Almost all of their shipments had been processed using WorldShip software provided by UPS, and their fulfillment staff was well versed in the software. "Our shipping workflow, prior to
NetSuite, was built around UPS WorldShip. It was a proven, fast, reliable process, and we were very hesitant to shake it up simply due to the inability to integrate it with NetSuite", said Tim Wilson, COO. Unwilling to rely solely on NetSuite's native UPS integration, Hydro-Photon needed a shipping integration solution that would allow them to keep using WorldShip, and the full suite of carrier services that it enabled, such as third-party billing.
Moreover, Hydro-Photon wanted to ship some packages via FedEx and the US Postal Service, for multiple reasons: one of HPIs major accounts demanded Fed Ex Freight Collect, to have a back-up shipping carrier relationship and to save money on certain shipments (such as international deliveries). NetSuite's native shipping process forces users to choose only UPS or FedEx, not enabling use of both. And it also lacked any ability to integrate with USPS.
Hydro-Photon was unwilling to accept any decreases in shipping performance and quality. Shipments needed to get out the door, quickly and accurately. "We have an excellent relationship with our customers that is built on full service. We just don't like to say 'we can't do that' to them.", Tim explained.

As part of its NetSuite implementation, Hydro-Photon selected OzLINK Shipping from top NetSuite partner Oz Development, to meet its shipping challenges. To handle shipping integration, Hydro-Photon turned to OzLINK Shipping. Tim Wilson declared, "We now ship all of our orders from NetSuite with a single click. OzLINK shipping solved a major problem for us in our NetSuite implementation." He adds, "I was amazed at how quickly Oz Development implemented shipping
integration with UPS, and added FedEx and USPS while they were at it. Total implementation time was maybe an hour, done remotely, and the guys at Oz Development were also very helpful in training our staff - which also took less than an hour."
OzLINK Shipping is a complete integration between NetSuite and UPS WorldShip. Its like using Worldship only better because the customer information auto-loads which cuts Hydro-Photon's entire shipping process down to a few clicks. OzLINK Shipping also added integration with FedEx Ship Manager, and the US Postal Service (via the Endicia engine).
